AUSTIN, Texas – Blue Sage Capital, an Austin, Texas-based private investment firm, is pleased to announce the additions of Jonathan Kaskow and Alan Mire to its team.
Blue Sage Capital Grows Team
Jonathan Kaskow joins Blue Sage Capital as a Senior Associate. In his role with Blue Sage, Jonathan assists with evaluating, structuring, due diligence, and financial modeling of investment opportunities. Prior to joining Blue Sage, Jonathan worked as the Director of Business Development for Construction Partners (CPI), a portfolio company of SunTx Capital Partners in Dothan, AL, where he led M&A and various strategic initiatives. Prior to CPI, Jonathan was an investment professional at SunTx, a middle-market private equity firm in Dallas, TX specializing in industrial, manufacturing and business services companies in the Sunbelt region. Prior to SunTx, he was a professional baseball player in the Cincinnati Reds organization. Jonathan received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Stanford University and his MBA from the University of Texas.
Alan Mire joins Blue Sage as the Controller, where he oversees the accounting function and manages internal financial reporting. He also supports insurance, lease, employment, investor relations, and regulatory matters. Prior to joining Blue Sage, Alan worked in the public accounting industry for six years at Ernst & Young and most recently, PMB Helin Donovan. While at PMB Helin Donovan, Alan worked as the auditor on the Blue Sage account as well as on other financial institution clients. Alan graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Science in Finance. He is also a licensed certified public accountant in the state of Texas.
